Polyphenols

Polyphenols are known as potent natural antioxidants. They are    important to your health because they have been shown to prevent    cellular damage caused by highly reactive molecules known as free radicals. Free radicals caused by many factors including your own metabolism, radiation from the sun, smoke and other environmental pollutants, toxic heavy metals, and chemicals in your food and water.    They act like microscopic buzz-bombs in the body, and unless        neutralized they wreak havoc with cellular material including the       delicate DNA molecules responsible for normal cellular reproduction.
