I and my husband are old and well aware of the need of physical activities especially when your are ageing. So every day�s in the week, in summer, autumn, winter, we venture out for a walk or to cycle.
Watch the farmers/gardeners busy, working the land.
Hard working people, busy growing fruit, vegetables, flowers and trees.
Because we are old we are well aware of the way�s of the past when people did work the land before and now.
When we are at home and watch the TV, see the experts on food and quality, hear the different representative of the different organisations/promotions.
Governments, and there health officials, politicians about regulations, how to safeguard quality, controls and prosecution present, everything done to protect you. Most of them talking about things they do not know off,
others simply lying.
Out there in the fields the farmer has to spray�s his crops regular (insecticides and herbicides) to kill weeds and insects and protect against disease.
In average he will spay his crop once every week. Not only affecting the crop but soil and eventually the water.
Your government advising you to eat more fruit and vegetable�s because they are healthy and you need them. If these vegetable contains poisons eating more means more poison as well. Many toxins play an important
role in the development of disease and affect ageing. I was told by my parents to eat the skin of an apple because it contains lots of good stuff.
Now I have to peal it because it might contain dangerous residue (leftovers) of used insecticide/herbicides.

Safe limits;

For residue of man made or foreign chemicals on/in foods?
The human body is not build to handle foreign or man made chemicals.              

Our food should be free of these substances. There is no thing as a safe limit.
These so called safe values only used too protect commercial interests. Environmental groups have been protesting against the use and introduction of them for a long time without getting anywhere.
First these test done under laboratory circumstances and as a single substance. Your blood and in your body fat contains a cocktail on body foreign substances which have accumulated there. Testing the effect or properties on health should be done in a mixture similar to what you will/can find in the human body.
The government support/ maintaining these values should be questioned.
